Cookies Policy

Lion Studio AI is a native mobile app, so unlike a website it does not primarily use HTTP cookies to operate. Instead, the app uses device-level identifiers and local storage mechanisms to maintain your session and deliver the service. Under Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive and its national implementations, including Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet. These technologies are treated equivalently to cookies from a legal and consent perspective. This Policy covers all of them.

Where Lion Studio AI displays web content inside an embedded view (for example during a payment flow or when accessing help documentation), traditional HTTP cookies may also apply. Those are included here.

Strictly Necessary Technologies

These technologies are essential to the operation of the Platform. The app cannot function without them and they do not require your consent.

• Authentication tokens — a secure session token stored locally on your device that keeps you logged in and prevents unauthorised access to your account.
• Account preferences — local storage used to remember your in-app settings such as language and display preferences.
• Security identifiers — a device-level identifier used exclusively to detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised account access. This identifier is not shared with any third party and is not used for advertising.

Functional Technologies

These technologies improve your experience but are not essential to core functionality. They are active by default but you may manage them through your device settings.

• Cached generation history — generated images are stored temporarily in local device storage so you can view and download recent outputs without re-requesting them. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers beyond the normal delivery of your outputs.

Technologies We Do Not Use

Lion Studio AI does not use advertising trackers, cross-app tracking identifiers, behavioural profiling technologies, third-party analytics SDKs or persistent advertising identifiers such as the Apple IDFA or Android Advertising ID (AAID). We do not participate in any advertising network or data-brokerage arrangement.

Some sections of Lion Studio AI load content in an embedded web view. This includes the payment flow, help documentation and legal pages. In these instances, standard HTTP cookies may be set by those pages. These cookies serve only the functional purpose of that specific web session, such as completing a payment, and are not used to track your activity across other applications or websites.

The use of strictly necessary technologies is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional platform and on our contractual obligation to deliver the service you have subscribed to. No consent is required for strictly necessary technologies.

For users in the European Economic Area, our use of these technologies is governed by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in applicable EU member states. For users accessing the Platform from the Netherlands, this Policy operates in accordance with Article 11.7a of the Telecommunicatiewet.

For users in India, data processing is governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable Rules.

You have the following options to manage how technologies operate on your device:

• iOS (iPhone and iPad) — go to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Tracking to manage which apps may request to track your activity. You may also reset your Advertising Identifier from this menu. Lion Studio AI does not request tracking permission.
• Android— go to Settings, then Privacy, then Ads to reset or delete your Advertising ID. You may also enable "Opt out of Ads Personalisation" from this menu. Lion Studio AI does not access your Advertising ID.
• Account deletion — deleting your account removes all data associated with your use of the Platform, including any stored session identifiers. This is permanent and irreversible.

We will update this Policy if we introduce new technologies or change how existing ones operate. Material changes will be communicated to you by email and through a notice within the Platform before they take effect.
